Metro Manila, Philippines – Actors Nicholas Galitzine and Camila Mendes led the red carpet premiere of Masters of the Universe on May 27 at Cineworld Leicester Square, marking the big-screen return of the iconic franchise.
Galitzine and Mendes, who portray He-Man and Teela, were joined by director Travis Knight as they celebrated the film’s debut.
In Masters of the Universe, Prince Adam is called back from exile on Earth to return to Eternia, now ruled by the villain Skeletor. Armed with the Sword of Power, he reclaims his role as He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe.
Music icons also made an appearance at the premiere, including Brian May and members of the band The Darkness. They were joined by composer Daniel Pemberton, who scored the film. The group posed together holding He-Man’s Sword of Power.
Additional guests included cast members and filmmakers, with attendees gathering to celebrate the latest adaptation of the classic franchise.
Masters of the Universe is set to arrive in Philippine cinemas on June 3.
