Metro Manila, Philippines – Motorists will pay more for gasoline and kerosene, and less for diesel beginning Tuesday, Oct. 6, as world markets remain on edge from stalled diplomatic negotiations between the US and Iran despite Middle East supply recoveries last week.
Chinese refiners also suspended exports of refined petroleum products to all regions outside Hong Kong and Macau, further putting pressure on pump prices.
The price adjustments per liter are as follows:
+diesel: ₱1.30 per liter (rollback)
+gasoline: ₱1.93 per liter (increase)
+kerosene: ₱3.30 per liter (increase)
Some oil companies also announced price changes:
Petron
*diesel -₱1.30 per liter
*gasoline: +₱1.90 per liter
*kerosene: +₱3.30 per liter
Shell
*diesel -₱1.30 per liter
*gasoline +₱1.90 per liter
*kerosene +₱3.30 per liter
Seaoil
*diesel: -₱1.30 per liter
*gasoline +₱1.93 per liter
*kerosene +₱3.30 per liter
Unioil (does not offer kerosene)
*diesel: -₱1.30 per liter
*gasoline: +₱1.90 per liter
Meanwhile, consumers will also pay more for higher liquified petroleum gas prices this month, with ₱17.33 more per kilogram or about ₱190.60 increase for a standard 11-kilogram cylinder.
