(Reuters) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Kyiv hit a major oil refinery in Moscow on Thursday for the second time this week, in what he said was a “fair” response to Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities.
“A totally fair response to Russian strikes on our cities and communities and another important result of the work of our soldiers on facilities that provide support for the Russian war machine,” Zelenskiy said on the Telegram app.
He added that Ukrainian forces also hit targets in Russia’s Rostov region and in occupied Ukraine.
