Metro Manila, Philippines – Gasoline prices will go down this week but firms will implement a price hike on diesel and kerosene starting Tuesday, Nov. 25.
In separate announcements on Monday, Cleanfuel and Seaoil said gasoline prices will be reduced by P0.20 per liter.
Diesel will have another round of upward adjustment, going up by P0.60 per liter.
Seaoil said kerosene will have a big-time hike at P1.30 per liter.
Last week, companies imposed a price increase on gasoline and diesel, while kerosene costs were unchanged.
As of Nov. 11, the Department of Energy said year-to-date total net increase stood at P18.70 per liter for gasoline, P22.85 per liter for diesel, and P8.65 per liter for kerosene.
