Metro Manila, Philippines — Motorists will face another steep pump price hike starting Tuesday, Sept. 22, with gasoline increasing by up to ₱4.88 per liter, diesel by ₱8.82 per liter, and kerosene by ₱6.47 per liter.
The Department of Energy (DOE) said the adjustments are driven by movements in the global oil market amid continuing developments in the Middle East that are affecting global supply and prices.
The announced adjustments from oil companies are as follows:
Petron
Sept. 22: Gasoline ₱4.80/liter; Diesel ₱7.80/liter; Kerosene ₱6.40/liter
Sept. 23: Diesel ₱1.00/liter; Gasoline and kerosene — no change
Shell
Sept. 22: Gasoline ₱4.80/liter; Diesel ₱7.80/liter; Kerosene ₱6.40/liter
Sept. 23: Diesel ₱1.00/liter; Gasoline and kerosene — no change
Seaoil
Gasoline: ₱4.88/liter
Diesel: ₱7.82/liter
Kerosene: ₱6.47/liter
Unioil
Sept. 22: Gasoline ₱4.80/liter; Diesel ₱7.80/liter
Sept. 23: Diesel ₱1.00/liter; Gasoline — no change
Jetti

The price adjustments will vary depending on the oil company and product, with some companies implementing the diesel increase in two stages.
