Metro Manila, Philippines – Authorities on Monday, Dec. 29, said that the bride-to-be reported missing days before her wedding has been located in the Ilocos Region.
The Quezon City Police District confirmed to NewsWatch Plus that Sherra de Juan was found and that police officers and her family were traveling to meet her.
Authorities did not immediately provide details on her condition or the circumstances surrounding her discovery.
De Juan, 30, was reported missing on Dec. 10, four days before her scheduled wedding. Police earlier said she last contacted her fiancé, Mark Arjay Reyes, to say she was heading to a mall to buy wedding shoes. She did not return home.
As part of the investigation, police identified five persons of interest — De Juan’s fiancé, mother, brother, manager and a close friend. A cash reward of 150,000 pesos was offered for tips leading to her whereabouts before her recovery.
