Pampanga construction collapse deaths at 20 – authorities

Metro Manila, Philippines – The death toll from the collapse of a building in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga is now at 20 after rescuers recovered three more bodies from the rubble, authorities said on Tuesday, June 2.

Workers turned over the remains to the Angeles City Health Office.

Authorities said search, rescue, retrieval, and clearing operations continue as emergency crews sift through the debris.
