Metro Manila, Philippines – The National Museum of the Philippines will now be open to the public every day for free beginning the New Year.
Aside from the National Museum of the Philippines Central Complex in Manila, the National Museum management said regional component museums across the country will also be open every day.
“Universal access has always been our priority,” the National Museum of the Philippines said in a social media post on Wednesday, Jan. 1.
“By opening our museums every day and maintaining free admission, we aim to make our programs and services even more accessible to everybody,” it stated.
Prior to the new schedule, the National Museum was operating from Tuesday to Sunday.
