Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 2) — Children under 18 years old are entitled to free Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) rides on Monday, Nov. 6, in celebration of the National Children’s Month.
This was announced by the National Council for the Welfare of Children (NCWC) that said the free MRT-3 ride will be available between 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“Yung mga batang covered po nito ay yung mga nasa grade school hanggang senior high school. So below 18 po talaga ‘yan,” NCWC Executive Director Angelo Tapales said Thursday in a public briefing.
[Translation: This covers children from grade school up to senior high school. So these are below 18 years old.]
