Michael Jordan leads FIBA’s 2015 Hall of Fame class

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) – FIBA released the list of its 2015 Hall of Fame Inductees on Friday (July 17), and no less than arguably the greatest player of all-time headlined this year’s class.

Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan, who also saw action in several international tiffs with Team USA, leads the nine-man list of world-class basketball personalities that will be enshrined into the FIBA Hall of Fame on September 19 (September 20 PHT).

The Charlotte Hornets’ owner will be joined by cagers Anne Donovan of USA, Ruperto Herrera Tabio of Cuba, Sarunas Marciulionis of Lithuania, Antoine Rigaudeau of France, Vladimir Tkachenko Russia, legendary coach Jan Stirling of Australia, technical official Robert Blanchard, and contributor Noah Klieger.

“We are very honored to announce the illustrious 2015 Class of the FIBA Hall of Fame,” FIBA President Horacio Muratore said in an article posted in the federation’s official website.

“These nine individuals are great personalities who have experienced tremendous success on and off the court.”
