The trailer offers fans a peek into the Suicide Squad, a ragtag collection of incarcerated supervillains who are tapped as deniable assets by the government.
The Squad is headlined by some of the biggest names of the DC universe in The Joker and Harley Quinn, who are portrayed by Jared Leto and Margot Robbie, respectively.
Will Smith is also in the cast as assassin Deadshot, while British model and actress Cara Delevigne will portray The Enchantress.
The rest of the Squad is rounded up by some names who are unfamiliar to those who aren’t too comic book savvy with Rick Flag, Captain Boomerang, Killer Croc, Katana, Slipknot, and El Diablo.
