
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The Brooklyn Nets and National Basketball Association (NBA) guard Deron Williams have reportedly agreed to a contract buyout.
According to ESPN’s David Aldridge and ESPN’s Marc Stein, the three-time All-Star is set to hit free agency after clearing waivers.
Williams signed his contract with the Nets during the 2012 offseason and was worth $99 million over a period of five years.
According to reports, Williams will sign up with the Dallas Mavericks on a two-year deal worth $10 million.
In his last season with the Nets, Williams logged averages of 13.0 points, 6.6 assists, and 3.5 rebounds.
