
Zamboanga City (CNN Philippines) — Classes in all basic levels in Zamboanga City remained suspended as strong rain continues to hit the city today (July 3).
Vice Mayor Cesar Ituralde, who serves as City Officer in Charge, has declared the suspension of classes in all kindergarten, elementary and high school levels in public and private schools.
Classes in the collegiate level will be suspended at the discretion of school officials.
Ituralde was appointed Officer in Charge by Mayor Beng Climaco, who left for Manila.
