Metro Manila, Philippines - Three Filipinos injured in a tourist bus crash in upstate New York, USA have been discharged from the hospital, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Monday, Aug. 25.

It said they are receiving assistance from the Philippine Consulate General in New York. They are Qatar-based and were on a tour.

The agency said the three were cleared to travel.

“A consulate representative will meet them to ascertain their needs and ensure their welfare until their scheduled departure,” the DFA said.

Five people were killed after a tour bus veered out of control and rolled over on Interstate 90 on Aug. 22.
