Metro Manila, Philippines – Juliana Candelaria nabbed a silver medal for the Philippines in the women’s individual poomsae at the 20th Asian Games on Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Toyohashi Gymnasium in Japan.
The 18-year-old Candelaria finished second with a score of 9.1300.
South Korea’s Haeun Jung captured the gold with a score of 9.3100, while Thitaree Kaewolanwasu of Thailand settled for the bronze with a score of 9.0400.
The Philippines increased its medal haul to 20, which includes three gold, five silver, and 12 bronze in the quadrennial meet.
