Cotabato City (CNN Philippines) — A grenade blast injured one person in Barangay Rosary Heights 10 early Friday evening (July 24).
Police identified the injured as 42-year-old Noli Bustillo of Happy Homes Subdivision. He sustained wounds on the lower part of his abdomen.
An initial investigation showed that Bustillo was having dinner around 7 p.m. at his friend’s place when unnamed riding-in-tandem suspects passed by and lobbed something at the house.
The victim went out to find out what it was when a blast ripped through the gate.
