Pacquiao says Arum has nothing to worry about: ‘I’m doing rehab myself

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Veteran boxing promoter Bob Arum slammed the injured Manny Pacquiao for skipping rehabilitation last weekend, but the Filipino pugilist said he is “doing the rehab myself.”

“I respect Bob Arum. He’s just like a father to me. I believe he’s just voicing out his concern for me and I appreciate and don’t take it negatively,” said Pacquiao in an article by AFP.

Pacquiao, who injured his right shoulder even before he took on unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr., said Arum has nothing to worry about.

“He has nothing to worry about about my injury, I’m doing the rehab myself and recovering faster than expected,” said Pacquiao.

Pacquiao cancelled a July 4 (July 5 PHT) session at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California.

That’s when Arum blew his top.
