Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — In what has proven to be a very busy off season for Manchester United, the English club has announced the signing of midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

Schneiderlin joins United only a few days after the announcement of the signings of Dutch winger Memphis Depay, Italian international Matteo Darmian, and German World Cup winner Bastian Schweinsteiger.
The former Southampton player featured in 26 games in his last season for the Saints, scoring four goals in the process.
