Metro Manila, Philippines – Cebu Pacific (CEB) said it has secured jet fuel supply for three months as high oil prices driven by the Middle East crisis also hit the aviation sector.
In an advisory on Sunday, March 29, CEB said its jet fuel supply is sufficient to support all scheduled domestic and international flights until June.
“CEB is working closely with suppliers and industry partners to ensure continued fuel availability in the months ahead and will continue to take proactive measures to maintain stable and sustainable operations,” the airline said.
“Passengers can continue to travel with confidence, as Cebu Pacific remains committed to providing reliable and affordable air travel,” it added.
On March 23, CEB announced it would implement temporary network adjustments, including some route suspensions and frequency reductions, due to rising fuel prices amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
The Civil Aeronautics Board recently said there would be an increase in fuel surcharge fees for domestic and international flights in the first half of April.
