Metro Manila, Philippines – Top-ranked Brazil took home the first-ever FIFA Fustal Women’s World Cup trophy with a 3-0 shutout against Portugal in an exciting final on Sunday, Dec. 7, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Emilly got the scoring going for Brazil with a goal halfway (10th minute) in the first half in front of over 5,000 people in attendance.

Amandinha doubled the lead for Brazil early (23rd minute) in the second half as Debora Vanin sealed the victory by finding the bottom of the net (38th minute) just before the match ended.

Emily won the Golden Ball and Golden Boot for her incredible performance in the global showpiece.

Meanwhile, Spain settled for the bronze medal after torching Argentina, 5-1, in the third-place match.
