Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 8) – One selfie, seven queens!
Former Miss Universe Philippines winners posed for a power-packed photo on Thursday at the Miss Universe Fashion Gala Night held at Solaire Resort & Casino in Paranaque City.
Titleholders Bianca Manalo (2009), Venus Raj (2010), MJ Lastimosa (2014), Rachel Peters (2017), Shamcey Supsup (2012) , Ariella Arida (2013), and Maxine Medina (2016) flashed their world-class smiles at a camera held by Medina.
The seven dazzled in body-hugging gowns designed by world-renowned Filipino and foreign designers.
The photo was posted by Miss Universe 2016 Maxine Medina, who captioned it “From the Universe.”
As of Friday, it has gathered more than 52,000 likes on instagram.
Aside from the viral selfie, Medina also posted a photo of the six queens, sans Peters, huddled together. She called them the “@missuniverse squad.”

The queens were brought together as part of the Gala Night’s fashion show, which also featured Miss Universe candidates from other countries.
They Miss Universe Charity Fashion Show was headlined by Miss Universe 2017 Demi Leigh Nel Peters, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittanaere and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.
