PAGASA: Low pressure area to bring rainy Undas

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 31) — Families headed to their loved ones’ graves today and Wednesday should be ready for rain as a low pressure area and the tail end of a cold front is affecting parts of the country.

The latest update of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said due to these systems, light to moderate rains are expected over the following areas:

LUZON

Aurora

Quirino

Quezon

Bicol region

Mindoro

Marinduque

Romblon

entire VISAYAS

Residents in these areas are warned that rains may cause flooding and landslides.

Palawan and Mindanao will experience rain or thunderstorms, while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have cloudy skies and light rain due to the northeast monsoon (amihan).

Water conditions in Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao are expecte to run from moderate to rough, while the waters in  the rest of Mindanao are forecaste to be light to moderate.

PAGASA will continue to monitor the progress of the LPA.
