Finance Secretary Frederick Go administered Limlingan’s oath at the Department of Finance office.

Limlingan takes the post from Robert Joseph Montes de Claro, who was appointed Secretary of the Department of Information and Communications Technology.

The state pension agency said Limlingan’s leadership will focus on expanding member loan programs, relaunching the Pension Booster Program, improving the investment portfolio on risk-adjusted returns, and advancing employee welfare.

Limlingan was a former employer representative at the Social Security Commission, the policy-making governing body of SSS.
