Dwyane Wade Manila-bound for ‘TADHANA: Make Your Own Way Manila Tour’

Metro Manila, Philippines – Three-time NBA champion and basketball icon Dwyane Wade is coming to Manila this month for the “TADHANA: Make Your Own Way Manila Tour,” bringing one of basketball’s most celebrated figures closer to fans for a series of experiences centered on the game, community, and culture.

Happening Oct. 13 to 14, the Manila tour marks a major moment for Way of Wade in the Philippines, following the brand’s official local arrival earlier this year.

Presented by Li-Ning and Way of Wade in partnership with Toby’s Sports, TADHANA draws inspiration from Wade’s own journey – a story of determination, individuality, and the courage to forge your own path and Make Your Own Way.

“Basketball has always had an incredible ability to connect people, and I know how much the game means in the Philippines,” said Wade. “I’m excited to spend time with the fans in Manila, experience the basketball culture firsthand, and meet some of the young players who are building their own journeys in the game.”

Taking over BGC

At the center of Wade’s Manila visit is the TADHANA Fan Fest at the BGC Amphitheater, a public celebration bringing together basketball, culture, entertainment, and the Filipino fan community.

The fan fest will feature basketball challenges, Way of Wade experiences, athletes, creators, music, fan activities, and more – building toward Wade’s live appearance and his opportunity to connect with Filipino fans.

Fans will also have opportunities to get closer to Wade at the Toby’s Sports Flagship Store in BGC. Selected Way of Wade customers will be invited to exclusive fan experiences, including the TADHANA superfan experience and a limited meet and greet with Wade.

Meeting a champion

Wade’s visit will also put the spotlight on the next generation of basketball talent through the Wade Academy Future Stars Clinic.

Wade, together with renowned basketball trainer Chris Johnson, will spend time training and mentoring the Palarong Pambansa basketball champions in an exclusive session designed around skills, preparation, mindset, leadership, and lessons from Wade’s championship journey.

The clinic reflects a key part of the “TADHANA: Make Your Own Way Manila Tour,” Wade’s visit is not only about celebrating his career, but also about connecting his journey with young athletes beginning to make their own way.

A three-time NBA champion, 13-time NBA All-Star, Olympic gold medalist, and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, Wade built a career defined by his ability to forge his own path on and off the court.

Wade joined forces with Li-Ning in 2012, beginning the partnership behind Way of Wade. More than a decade later, the brand has grown into a global basketball and performance platform carrying Wade’s influence, approach to the game, and belief in individuality.
