Metro Manila, Philippines — The Philippines extended its record-breaking reign in the Megacrew division of the Hip Hop International (HHI) World Championship after Femme MNL, an all-queer dance crew, captured the gold medal during the competition’s 25th anniversary in Phoenix, Arizona.
The victory gave the Philippines its fourth consecutive Megacrew world title—the longest championship streak by any country in the division’s history.
It surpassed New Zealand’s previous three-title streak from 2011 to 2013, when The Royal Family won three straight Megacrew championships.
Femme MNL succeeded previous Filipino champions Legit Status (2023 and 2025) and UPeepz (2024), further cementing the country’s dominance in one of the competition’s premier categories.
Another Filipino crew, The Crew, claimed the silver medal, giving the Philippines a historic 1-2 finish in the Megacrew division.
Meanwhile, HQ captured the gold medal in the Adult Division, while Folk Jumpers won the bronze medal in the same category.
In the Junior Division, Sayawatha Junior also took home the bronze medal.
This year’s World Championship marked the competition’s 25th anniversary, bringing together more than 3,000 dancers from around the world to compete across multiple divisions.
