Metro Manila, Philippines – Warner Bros. Pictures has released the teaser trailer for “Clayface,” DC Studios’ first horror thriller, ahead of its Philippine theatrical debut on Oct. 21.
Directed by James Watkins, the film is based on characters from DC and features a screenplay by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini, with a story by Flanagan.
The movie stars Tom Rhys Harries as the titular Gotham City villain, alongside Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella, Eddie Marsan, Nancy Carroll and Joshua James.
“Clayface” follows the story of a rising Hollywood actor whose life spirals into a horrifying transformation, turning him into a revenge-driven monster. The film explores themes of identity, humanity, love and the dangers of unchecked scientific ambition.
The project is produced by Matt Reeves, Lynn Harris, James Gunn and Peter Safran, with several executive producers including Michael E. Uslan, Rafi Crohn, Paul Ritchie, Chantal Nong Vo and Lars P. Winther.
The creative team includes cinematographer Rob Hardy, production designer James Price, editor Jon Harris, visual effects supervisor Angus Bickerton, costume designer Keith Madden and casting director Lucy Bevan.
“Clayface” marks DC Studios’ first venture into the horror genre and will be released in theaters and IMAX in North America on Oct. 23, 2026, with international screenings beginning Oct. 21.
