Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 7) — OPM singer JK Labajo surprised an elderly fan as he went Christmas caroling at the fan’s house.
The “Ere” singer earlier announced on social media that he and his band would visit fans who used his latest song “Maligayang Pasko” in their TikTok videos.
Among the lucky fans is Mama Luming, who was ecstatic to see the young singer in person.
In a Facebook video posted by Labajo on Wednesday, a shocked Mama Luming called him “ang aking bunsong anak! (My youngest son)”
“Meron ka pa lang ugali…Maganda ang ugali mo. (You have an attitude…You have good manners.),” she added.
The 22-year-old singer performed his Christmas single while the elderly fan kept on caressing his face and holding his hands.
“Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng ganire kagandang lalaki,” Mama Luming said.
[Translation: This is the first time I met such a handsome man.]
Labajo made history as the first Filipino artist to land in Spotify’s top 100 global charts in October.
