BI to deport four foreign nationals for disrespecting PH flag

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 3) — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) said it will file deportation cases against four foreign nationals arrested on Monday for disrespecting the Philippine flag in Cavite.

In a statement released on Monday, Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansingco said the three Pakistanis and one Romanian violated the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office said the four suspects were caught in the act of pulling down the flag, causing damage, and throwing it away near the Marine Base on June 26.
