
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 21) — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed David Andrew Lizares Sanson as an acting board member of the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA).
Sanson will represent sugar planters, according to his appointment paper dated June 15, and released to the media on Wednesday.
Pursuant to the provisions of existing laws, you are hereby appointed Acting Member, Representing the Sugar Planters, Sugar Board, Sugar Regulatory Administration, vice David John Thaddeus P. Alba,” it read.The SRA is a government owned and controlled corporation under the Department of Agriculture, which Marcos concurrently heads.
