Vanessa de Jesus to play for Gilas women in FIBA Women’s Asia Cup

Filipino-American Vanessa de Jesus will play for the women’s national team in the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup. The Philippines will open its campaign against host country Australia on June 26th. De Jesus currently plays for Duke University in the US NCAA.

She is expected to reinforce Gilas women – bannered by standouts Jack Animam, Afril Bernardino, and Ella Fajardo.
