One of the characters in this series is Professor Alex Finnerty who was born in South Korea but is adopted by Australian parents and is now in search for his birth parents and his Korean heritage.
The actor who portrays this character is Australian actor Peter Thurnwald. And it turns out, he has very much the same storyline as his character.
