Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 16) — The newly crowned Miss Supranational Philippines and Miss Charm Philippines on Tuesday shared their excitement as they prepare to bring Filipino pride to the international stage.
“All I can hope for is that I’ll be able to represent the best of the Philippines,” Miss Supranational Philippines 2023 Pauline Amelinckx, who is set to compete in Poland in July, told CNN Philippines.
On the other hand, Miss Charm Philippines 2024 Krishnah Gravidez, who will compete in February next year, said she hopes to “bring the amazing stories of the Filipinos on the Charm stage.”
Both queens were crowned on Saturday along with Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee.

While she is already a pageant veteran, Amelinckx said there will always be room for growth and progress.
“We always have to keep working on ourselves like we can’t become complacent especially now that we are not just wearing our own provinces or municipalities over our hearts, we are carrying the Philippine sash already, so we have to really be our best to represent the best of the Philippines,” she said.
As for Gravidez, her journey so far taught her to be grateful and be ready for what’s been offered to her.
“This crown that’s been given to me and this experience, I had so many firsts joining this (Miss Universe Philippines) pageant… so I’m just living every bit of this experience and I’m just really grateful for this,” she said.
