Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 25) — The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) may extend the operation of its free shuttle service ferrying misrouted travelers between Ninoy Aquino International Airport’s (NAIA) terminals, an airport official said Monday.
“Tatagal ito (free shuttle service) ng one month from April 16,” said Bryan Co, MIAA senior assistant general manager, during the government-sponsored Laging Handa briefing. “Although subject from assessment pa naman ito. Kung marami-rami pa rin ang pasehero na misroute, i-extend naman natin ito.”

Citing data from terminal operations, Co said the number of misrouted passengers has declined. From 70 travelers on April 16, the latest count is 50.
The MIAA began reassigning airlines from one terminal to another on April 16 as part of its schedule and terminal assignment rationalization program.
Beginning July 1, NAIA Terminal 2 will be exclusive to domestic flights, including those from Philippine Airlines and Philippines AirAsia.
“Sa ngayon, based sa capacity (ng NAIA Terminal 2), ang magkakasya lang po ay Philippine Airlines, Philippines AirAsia at Royal Air,” Co said.

“As of July 1, status quo po ang Cebu Pacific operation na ang kanilang domestic flights ay nasa Terminal 3,” he added.
