Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 11) — Malacañang on Wednesday ordered the suspension of classes and government work in Metro Manila and other areas in Luzon on November 12, due to the anticipated impact of Typhoon Ulysses (international name: Vamco).
Under Memorandum Circular 82, classes in all levels in public schools, and work in all government offices in the following regions are suspended effective 3pm on Wednesday until the whole day of Thursday:
– Metro Manila
– Cagayan Valley
– Central Luzon
– Calabarzon
– Mimaropa
– Bicol
– Cordillera Administrative Region
Suspension of work for private companies, offices, and schools is left to the discretion of their respective heads, Malacañang added.
