Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Shaquille O’Neal ignited an interesting discussion after posting on social media on Monday (July 20 PHT) that a team comprised of the best Los Angeles Lakers in history would beat its Chicago Bulls counterpart by 50 points.
According to the former Laker’s statement, a team of himself, Kobe Bryant, Elgin Baylor, Magic Johnson, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar would handle a side with the Bulls’ Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Horace Grant, and Derrick Rose.

Former Bulls forward Scottie Pippen did not take the shot lying down — he said that he would prefer not to waste time on hypotheticals.
Instead, the Bulls legend would rather talk about more quantifiable things, like the amount of trophies they have won in their respective sides.

Is the Big Diesel right? Could the Lakers legends dismantle a Bulls side led by Michael Jordan?
Or does Pippen have the upper hand with his six trophies?
And how would other venerable franchises such as Larry Bird’s Celtics fare against such competition?
