Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Kobe Bryant is entering his 20th season in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and during an interview with Jamele Hill on the BET Experience on Saturday (Sunday PHT), it may well be his last.
“It might be. You gotta retire sometime, ” said Bryant. “I’m not Benjamin Button, man.”

If Kobe does retire at the end of next season, it would mark the end of a storied career in which he has won five NBA championships, two NBA finals MVP gongs, one NBA regular season MVP title, and 17 All-Star appearances.
Kobe’s 20th season will see him surpass Utah Jazz legend John Stockton for most seasons spent with a single team.
During the same interview, Kobe also shed light on his perceived rocky relationship with his teammates.
“Friends come and go, but banners hang forever,” said Bryant.
It is obvious that the storied veteran is out to win it all, but in what could be his last season in the NBA, will he be able to deliver?
