Lookout bulletin orders on those linked to missing ‘sabungeros’ - DOJ
Metro Manila, Philippines - Immigration lookout bulletin orders have been issued against people implicated by Julie Patidongan, a suspect-turned-whistleblower in the missing cockfight enthusiasts or “sabungeros” case.
Patidongan tagged gaming businessman Charlie “Atong” Ang and actress Gretchen Barretto as masterminds, which the two denied.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla said Ang’s sibling has left the country.
“Umalis pero hindi ko na rin alam kung bumalik na,” Remulla said in a briefing on Friday, Aug. 29.

Prosecutor General Richard Fadullon had said the evaluation of cases has been completed and is now subject to preliminary investigation.
From 2021 to 2022, 34 “sabungeros” went missing in Manila, Laguna, Batangas, and Bulacan after allegedly cheating the games.
Patidongan, Ang’s former employee, said the number of victims may even reach up to a hundred. He added that the bodies were dumped in Taal Lake.
