Tandem you never saw coming’: Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid to team up in TV series

Metro Manila, Philippines - Kapamilya stars Kathryn Bernardo and James Reid will star in a TV series for the first time – a tandem, which many fans never expected.

Dreamscape Entertainment, a production house under ABS-CBN, announced their upcoming project on Friday, Aug. 29. This came a week after Dreamscape revealed the actress’ comeback to the production outfit after 15 years.

In a 30-second teaser, the production outfit shared a glimpse of what appears to be a photoshoot for Bernardo and Reid’s first team up. The series title has yet to be revealed.

The project marks Bernardo’s first teleserye after her breakup with longtime reel and real life partner, Daniel Padilla in 2023, and Reid’s series comeback after more than eight years.

Both Bernardo and Reid are products of phenomenal love teams from the last decade.

The actress was best known for her TV series and movies with Padilla such as “Got To Believe,” “Pangako Sa’yo,” “She’s Dating The Gangster,” and “The Hows of Us.”

Reid, on the other hand, rose to fame for his projects with ex-off and on screen partner, Nadine Lustre, such as “On The Wings of Love,” “Till I Met You,” and “Never Not Love You.”
