Metro Manila, Philippines - The Magnolia Hotshots are not yet done with their offseason lineup changes in the PBA.

The Hotshots have acquired Javi Gomez de Liano from the Terrafirma Dyp in exchange for Jerrick Ahanmisi and a second round pick in the upcoming Season 50 draft.

The trade was approved by the PBA Commissioner's Office on Friday, Aug. 22.

Gomez de Liano is coming off a stint with the Anyang Jung Kwan Jang in the Korean Basketball League. He was part of the Dyip team that last reached the quarterfinals alongside Juami Tiongson, Stephen Holt, Isaac Go, and Andreas Cahilig.

Meanwhile, Ahanmisi showed flashes of brilliance with his shooting touch in Magnolia but did not really shine as he played behind the shadows of veteran guards Paul Lee and Mark Barroca.

Unable to have postseason success in the past few conferences, the Hotshots parted ways with Chito Victolero and replaced him with LA Tenorio as head coach.
