Metro Manila, Philippines - Filipino food content creator Abi Marquez continued to gain international recognition after winning big at the 2025 International Business Awards (IBA), also known as “the International Stevies.”

Marquez, dubbed the “Lumpia Queen,” became the first-ever Gold Stevie Winner for Most Innovative Content Creator of the Year, a new award introduced under IBA’s Social Media Awards Category.

Created in 2002, the Stevie Awards is considered the “world’s premier business awards” to honor achievements and contributions of organizations and professionals. Currently, it has nine programs, including the IBA.

The IBA said this year’s competition got more than 3,800 nominations. Over 250 professionals took part in the two month-long judging process.

Marquez and other winners will be feted in a gala event in Lisbon, Portugal on Oct. 10.

In May, this year, Marquez won the Food Creator of the Year at the 7th edition of the World Influencers and Bloggers Awards during the Cannes Film Festival. 

She was also the first Filipino to bag a Webby Award in 2024.
