Double victory: PH bets bag Miss Orient Tourism Global, Aura International titles in one night

Metro Manila, Philippines - Indeed, a powerhouse night for pageants!

Philippine representatives Patricia Bangug and Krishan Pauline Alerre took back-to-back crowns as Miss Orient Tourism Global And Miss Aura International, respectively, on Friday, May 23.

Bangug dominated the coronation night of Miss Orient Tourism Global 2025 in Malaysia while Alere, a few hours later, also triumphed in Miss Aura International 2025 in Turkey.

Both candidates won the international crowns on the same night.

On her Instagram page, Alerre said winning the international competition “still feels like a dream.”

“Winning Miss Aura International 2025 has me floating on cloud 9!” she said.

Alerre is the second Filipino to win the title after Alexandra Faith Garcia’s coronation in 2021.

Meanwhile, Bangug is the first ever bet from the Philippines named Miss Orient Tourism Global. 

Aside from turning heads during her coronation, Bangug also bagged the competition’s best in national costume award.
