PNR to open Naga-Lupi Viejo route in November

Metro Manila, Philippines - A new railway route will serve commuters in Camarines Sur beginning Nov. 5, the Philippine National Railways (PNR) said.

The PNR said the route from Naga City to the municipality of Lupi Viejo would take an hour and 39 minutes.

It will have three trips daily - Naga to Lupi Viejo: 4:29 a.m., 9:49 a.m., and 3:14 p.m.; and Lupi Viejo to Naga: 6:23 a.m., 11:43 a.m., and 5:08 p.m.

Regular fares for Naga to Lupi Viejo will begin at P15 to P75. For students, senior citizens and persons with disabilities, fares will start at P12 to P60.

The stations are in Lupi Viejo, Sipocot, Libmanan, Pamplona and Naga and flag stops in Nuevo/Tapi, Malaguico, Azucena, Awayan, Mantalisay, Camambugan, Rongos, Malansad, Mambuo, Borabod and Sampaloc.
