ALAMAT dropping second album in November
Metro Manila, Philippines - P-Pop boy group ALAMAT announced that its second album, “Destino,” will be released on Nov. 21.
ALAMAT performed an unreleased track as album teaser during its guesting for the MassKara Festival in Bacolod City on Sunday, Oct. 19.
“’Yung pinerform namin ngayon, ‘yun ‘yung hero track sa album namin. Handa na ba kayo para sa album namin?” main dancer Jao said to the crowd.
[Translation: What we just performed was the hero track of our album. Are you ready for the album?]
In an Instagram post on Monday, Oct. 20, the group said the album was “more than a year in the making.”
ALAMAT’S first album, “IsaPuso,” was nominated Album of the Year at the 9th PPOP Music Awards.
Best known for the songs “Maharani,” “Sa Panaginip Na Lang,” and “Day and Night,” the multicultural boy group obtained over 85 million streams on Spotify.
Composed of members Mo, Taneo, Tomas, Jao, Ri-Ji, and Alas, ALAMAT has been recognized for singing in languages from their home regions.
