Filipino hospitality reason for coming back to PH - Ji Chang-wook
Metro Manila, Philippines - Filipinos’ warm hospitality is among the reasons why Ji Chang-wook keeps returning to the Philippines, the Korean superstar said in his third visit to Manila.
Chang-wook headlined IAM Worldwide’s eight anniversary show at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, Oct. 19, alongside rising K-pop group NTX and P-pop group BINI.
In a press briefing ahead of his show, the Korean star said he is grateful for the support he’s been getting from his Filipino fans.
“Looking how hospitable they are and also their positive looks and their cheers whenever I encounter them, I kind of feel that I wanna come back to the Philippines,” he said in a translated message.
The actor first visited Manila in 2022, followed by an event of a clothing brand in 2024.
The “Healer,” “Suspicious Partner,” and “Welcome to Samdal-ri” leading man vowed to work on better projects for his supporters.
He topbills the upcoming crime revenge series “Manipulated,” which will stream on Disney+ beginning Nov. 5.
“It’s a story about a man who actually gets accused falsely and he’s actually being imprisoned. It’s an action drama where he does revenge out of that prison,” he shared in the briefing.
