Metro Manila, Philippines – A number of celebrities were seen off-screen helping typhoon victims amid the risks.

Some distributed relief packs while others handed out meals.

Here are some of them:

Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera

Reel- to real-life couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, better known as “DongYan,” took time off to send aid.

In an Instagram story, Marian was seen packing canned goods.

The Dantes family managed to pack over 700 bags of relief goods. “DongYan” personally turned them over to the GMA Kapuso Foundation warehouse.

Dantes, meanwhile, went to a number of evacuation centers and handed out relief goods to the evacuees.

Heart Evangelista

Fashion icon and actress Heart Evangelista also visited the evacuees.

Evangelista, wife of Senate President Chiz Escudero, went to the Sto. Niño Elementary School in Marikina City on Friday.

In an Instagram post, Evangelista said the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc. (SSFI) team gathered resources and manpower to provide aid to over 2,000 people.

“My other SSFI fellows who are also in the midst of their individual relief operations sent food, water and rice to add to our care packs,” she said in the caption.

Donny Pangilinan

Kapamilya actor Donny Pangilinan volunteered at the Angat Buhay Foundation’s initiative to provide hot meals.

Angat Buhay, led by former Vice President Leni Robredo, shared a photo of Pangilinan on X serving porridge or lugaw.

In an Instagram story, Pangilinan praised other volunteers “cooking nonstop” for the victims.

Angat Buhay said those who want to help may donate P25 per bowl of lugaw to GCash account 09164119532.

Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson trended on social media as he rescued people trapped in flood at the height of the typhoon.
