Metro Manila, Philippines – Chinese singer and actor JC-T is expanding his international music career with the worldwide release of his third solo album, “TANGENT.”
Released Sept. 28, the 13-track album features songs in English and Chinese, led by the English-language track “DROP.”
“TANGENT” also marks JC-T’s first project as executive producer and lead producer, giving him a bigger role in shaping the album’s music, concept and visuals.
The album blends pop, R&B, rap and dance music while exploring relationships, perception and different sides of identity.
Its central theme, “WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT THE WHOLE,” reflects the album’s focus on how people and relationships can have layers beyond what is immediately visible.
Aside from “DROP,” the album features Chinese focus single “Don’t Let Go” and the track “DEAD REFLEX,” which was created with international collaborators whose previous credits include projects involving K-pop acts BTS and BLACKPINK.
The album comes as JC-T builds a wider global presence through a strategic partnership with Warner Music China.
JC-T first rose to prominence as a member of boy group M.I.C. before establishing a solo career in music and acting.
“TANGENT” is now available worldwide on major digital streaming platforms.
