Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The San Mig Light DJ Party All Night Spin-Off Competition was bigger and tougher as ever as it concluded its fourth run last Saturday (August 1).
This year’s grand finale held at the Privé Luxury Club on Saturday (August 1) was a testament to that.
Five finalists battled it out, and it was DJ Kuota Kutsuma who came out victorious.
The 26-year old Japanese national dominated from start to finish, showcasing mastery of house, techno, and hip-hop.
Kuota’s technical skills and ability to pump up the dance floor played a big role in his triumph.
The Japanese DJ sealed the victory after he scored 62.33% at the Beat-off stage, to best fellow competitor Aggy de Guzman.
Kuota received a cash prize, a one-year contract with the San Mig Light management, San Miguel products, and DJ equipment.
