Dumaguete City (CNN Philippines) — The qualifying examination for the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) will be held nationwide on August 2, according to Lt. Col. Ignacio Patrimonio, officer in charge of cadets.
In Negros Oriental, the exams will be at the at the Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) in Dumaguete City
PMA cadets are full scholars of the government, who get free board and lodging and a salary of P27,000 monthly while in training.
“All you have to do is study, undergo the training and after graduation, you can choose from the different branches in the Armed Forces”, Patrimonio added.
