
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — A fire broke out at a house in Barangay Old Balara, near Commonwealth Avenue, in Quezon City, on Wednesday (June 3), according to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), which posted a tweet on its official Twitter page.

Ten people suffered minor injuries during the fire, which caused damage estimated at P1.5 million, the Bureau of Fire Protection said.
The fire started past 8:00 a.m. in a house at 90 South Zuzuarregui St. and reached Task Force Bravo, which means over 10 fire trucks from neighboring districts and cities were also deployed to put out the fire.
After about two hours, at 11:15 a.m., firefighters declared fire out.
