
(CNN Philippines) — While National team coach Tab Baldwin is still in the process of naming his final roster, the Southeast Asia Basketball Association (SEABA) already released a schedule of the region’s prestigious basketball meet.
Sinag Pilipinas, bannered by amateur stars Kiefer Ravena, Jeron Teng, and Bobby Ray Parks, will lock horns with Indonesia on the opening day on April 27 to jumpstart their title-retention bid.

The defending champions, who will also be reinforced by naturalized Filipino Marcus Douthit, will tackle Laos (April 28), Malaysia (April 29), and Brunei (April 30), before taking on host country Singapore on the last day (May 1).

The other players who are part of the 16-man pool from which Baldwin will form the team are National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Most Valuable Player Scottie Thompson (Perpetual), former college standouts Norbert Torres, Almond Vosotros, Glenn Khobuntin, and Troy Rosario, with Thirdy Ravena (Ateneo), Arnold Van Opstal (La Salle), Mac Belo (Far Eastern University), Kevin Ferrer (University of Santo Tomas), Baser Amer (San Beda), Prince Rivero (La Salle), and Jiovanni Jalalon (Arellano).
